Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks an Area Manager, Compounding Facilities in Gilbert, AZ to lead predictive maintenance for lab equipment and oversee repair operations within the Pharmacy Labs.

You will implement preventive maintenance programs, document data, and collaborate with QA/regulatory teams to ensure quality and safety. The role requires 3+ years in pharma maintenance and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharma industry experience in maintenance or engineering
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and operate advanced technical equipment
• Formal training or certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, PLC systems or HVAC trades

Responsibilities

• Provide predictive/preventive maintenance on lab equipment such as tablet presses, blenders, mills, hoods, and air compressors
• Document maintenance data and charts for trends and compliance
• Repair and troubleshoot pharmacy equipment and systems
• Calibrate and test equipment to meet quality standards
• Maintain equipment logs and validate regulatory documentation
• Collaborate with QA and regulatory teams on documentation
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
• Coordinate repairs with production to minimize disruption
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure safety standards and proper PPE use
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
