Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in Gilbert, AZ to supervise the compounding lab, perform QA/QC checks, verify formulations, and develop SOPs under USP <795> and <800> guidelines. The role reports to the Head Compounding Pharmacist and engages in patient-facing activities as needed.

The successful candidate will lead technicians, ensure cGMP practices, and drive CQI initiatives while maintaining a safe, compliant environment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy and Arizona licensure.
• Active Pharmacist License in Arizona.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Strong knowledge of state/federal pharmacy laws.
• Excellent numeric and math skills.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Experience with Windows-based computer systems.
• Multi-state licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all compounding personnel and support staff.
• Perform and document compounding procedures with QA/QC checks.
• Verify records, beyond use dates, and finished products.
• Assist in training and evaluating compounding personnel.
• Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and use of compounding equipment.
• Follow safety, USP, BOP, and internal guidelines for compounded meds.
• Maintain safety and PPE protocols in line with USP <800> and laws.
• Conduct pharmacist duties such as patient counseling and drug utilization reviews.
• Coordinate with PIC for regulatory matters and CQI initiatives.
• Support cross-functional teams and complete inventories and audits.
