Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff across multiple Texas sites. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality service within budget and schedule constraints.

The role requires leadership, multilingual communication when needed, and a proactive approach to staff development and client relations. Opportunities exist for growth in a growing facility management company.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of management experience in a service-related industry (janitorial preferred).
• Business level English communication (oral and written).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service skills and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; manage hiring decisions and performance reviews.
• Champion company values and people culture across sites.
• Assign duties, inspect work for cleanliness and quality, and ensure budget adherence.
• Create schedules and ensure labor budget targets are met.
• Conduct new-hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Prepare time sheets, reports, and work orders; maintain records.
