Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager to oversee janitorial staff across multiple Texas sites, ensuring quality service and adherence to budget. You will supervise personnel, drive customer satisfaction, and coordinate with accounts to maintain high standards.

The role requires strong leadership, English communication, and ability to manage schedules and labor budgets effectively. Full-time opportunities are available across several Dallas–Fort Worth area locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial
• Business-level oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments
• Excellent customer service skills and active listening
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; hiring decisions, performance appraisals, and development plans
• Understand and champion company principles, values and culture
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality and timeliness within budget
• Create schedules and manage labor budgets across accounts
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff
• Prepare time sheets, accident reports, and training records
• Maintain open communication with employees and coach for success
• Build relationships with customers by visiting accounts regularly
• Resolve issues promptly to maximize customer satisfaction
• Document customer contacts and follow up to ensure resolution
• Monitor accounts for additional work and potential contract expansions
• Ensure quality control site visits are completed and recorded
• Spend time at accounts to support desired outcomes
