Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff at multiple sites, ensuring high-quality service and on-budget delivery. You will drive staff performance, conduct training, and uphold our company values while maintaining strong relationships with customers.

The role requires overseeing scheduling, safety, and paperwork, with emphasis on communication and problem solving to meet client expectations across assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial.
• Business level oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service skills; active listening.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; negotiate and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Supervise janitorial staff at assigned sites and manage performance.
• Ensure customer satisfaction via quality service and timely delivery within budget.
• Create work schedules and allocate duties to stay within labor budget.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Review time sheets, reports and work orders; maintain documentation.
• Maintain open communication with customers and address concerns promptly.
