Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking an Area Manager for the PNP Program to lead a team of Account Managers, drive sales growth, and strengthen relationships with small-to-medium contractors. The role requires a dynamic leader who mentors the team and supports their professional development.

You will collaborate with area leadership, credit, and vendors, traveling to branches, planning promotions, and recruiting talent to expand the program's reach and success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience.
• 5+ years of counter sales or related experience selling electrical products.
• Passionate about the electrical products industry and electrical distribution.
• Personable and able to talk with customers.
• Able to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers across all Capital Electric regions.
• Attend joint sales calls with Account Managers to drive growth.
• Coach Account Managers on new materials and customer navigation.
• Run monthly and yearly sales reports to monitor performance.
• Collaborate with area leaders on growth strategies and vendor training.
