Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking an Area Leader Trainee to oversee 12–14 stores, train staff, and drive performance. You will guide store leaders, implement merchandising programs, control cash and inventory, and promote outstanding customer service.

The role focuses on profit optimization, budget planning, and achieving sales targets, with a path toward senior district leadership. A valid driver's license and willingness to relocate after training are required.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or 5+ years of district/regional operations management experience in retail.
• Strong staffing, training and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, and supervise Store Leaders across 12–14 locations.
• Implement merchandising programs, manage cash and inventory, and promote excellent customer service.
• Drive profit via budgeting, sales growth, and expense control; set performance goals with upper management.
• Relocate after training and demonstrate readiness for multi-unit responsibilities.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain auto insurance during employment.
