Job summary

7-Eleven in McAllen, TX is seeking an Area Leader Trainee to oversee 12-14 stores, train and mentor Store Leaders, and elevate customer service across the district.

The program runs about 12 months with extensive training and clear pathways to senior operations roles; a company vehicle is provided, monthly incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical/dental insurance, PTO and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or 5+ years of district/regional retail operations management experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple store locations and driving sales growth.
• Ability to train and develop Store Leaders and frontline staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 12-14 store locations and supervise Store Leaders.
• Implement merchandising programs, control cash and inventory, and promote customer service.
• Manage profit and loss, budget planning, and expense control.
• Set performance goals and monitor results with upper management.
• Lead multi-unit operations with self-motivation and the ability to multi-task.
