Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking an Area Leader Trainee to oversee 12-14 stores in a dynamic retail environment in Nashville, TN.

You will train and develop Store Leaders, implement merchandising programs, and drive profitability with a focus on cost control and sales growth. The role offers structured 12‑month training, career progression into district operations, a company vehicle for business use, and an extensive benefits package including 401(k), paid PTO and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree or 5+ years of district/regional retail operations management experience (100+ employees).
• The ability to relocate upon completion of training.
• A valid Driver's License from the state of residence and auto liability insurance during employment.
• The ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders.
• Implementing merchandising programs, controlling cash and inventory, motivating and teambuilding, and promoting excellent customer service.
• A focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management.
