7-Eleven Inc. is seeking an Area Leader Trainee - Retail Sales to oversee 12-14 stores in the Maryland area. You will train Store Leaders, ensure consistent customer service, and drive performance across multiple locations.

The program lasts about 12 months with thorough onboarding and advancement opportunities into a district or regional operations role. A company vehicle is provided for business use once appointed to manage a district.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or 5+ years of district/reg­ional ops management experience in retail
• Experience in staffing, training and supervising Store Leaders
• Merchandising, cash and inventory control skills
• Strong P&L management, budgeting, and cost control experience
• Ability to set and monitor performance goals with leadership
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs, controlling cash and inventory, motivating and teambuilding, and promoting excellent customer service
• A focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management
• A 4-year degree or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees
• The ability to multi-task, being self-motivated, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
