Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Area Leader Trainee to oversee 12-14 store locations and train store staff to provide exceptional customer service.

The program typically lasts 12 months and offers a clear path to district-level leadership within a high-velocity retail environment. You will be part of a multi-unit operations team, responsible for merchandising, cash and inventory controls, and driving sales while managing a district budget.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees.
• Valid Driver's License from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
• Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders.
• Implementing merchandising programs, controlling cash and inventory, motivating and teambuilding, and promoting excellent customer service.
• Focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management.
