Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Area Leader to drive team engagement and operational excellence. You will lead Leads and Team Leaders, oversee onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management while owning budget line items in the P&L.

You will ensure safety, compliance and process improvements across the area, guiding staffing and development for a high-performing team. You will identify talent, engage in career discussions, and build a diverse talent pipeline for store leadership roles, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Engage team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identify talent and plan staffing to support store operations.
• Lead with Meijer standards, enabling growth within the organization.
