Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area, supervise Associates, and ensure smooth operations during opening/closing shifts. You will uphold safety, customer service, and brand standards across merchandising and store presentation.

You will monitor frontline activities, train staff on POS use, and support daily administrative tasks while ensuring a welcoming, efficient shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security on the sales floor and lead the team on duty.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean, organized stockrooms.
• Supervise Associates, train on cash registers, and manage front-end procedures.
• Support store manager with payroll, scheduling, and daily administrative duties.
