Meijer is seeking an Area Leader in Ohio to oversee area operations and financial performance while driving team engagement, coaching, and development. You will lead Leads and Team Leaders, ensure onboarding and training, and implement process improvements to support Meijer’s culture and growth.

The role emphasizes safety, budgeting, talent identification, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service within a multi-store span of care.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Commitment to safe working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching.
• Identify talent and support staffing plans and leadership pipelines.
• Discuss candidly with team members to uphold Meijer standards.
• Oversee area operations and financial results; manage budgets.
• Drive safety and compliance and manage store condition.
• Ensure team leads assign daily work and training needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
