Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.
• Demonstrates commitment to safe operations and working practices.
• Inclusive leadership to support diverse customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members in span of care to ensure onboarding, training and coaching.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership development strategies.
• Conducts candid conversations to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, owning budget line items in the P&L.
• Drives safety, compliance and overall store condition management.
• Guides Leads and Team Leaders, assigns daily work and training needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
