Sunrise Senior Living seeks a Regional HR Manager to lead people strategy across multiple communities on Long Island. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations while partnering with site leaders and corporate HR to align programs with Sunrise standards.

This on-site role requires regular travel between Holbrook, Smithtown, East Setauket, Dix Hills, and West Babylon, with 3–4 days per week on-site depending on market needs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years HR experience (healthcare/senior living preferred).
• Supervisory and employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure compliance with Sunrise Hiring Standards and employment laws
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and system access for new team members
• Maintain HRIS, ATS, personnel files, and regulatory documentation
• Manage unemployment and workers' compensation claims
• Serve as HR partner to department leaders on performance management
• Lead employee relations matters and internal investigations
• Drive team member engagement initiatives and action planning
• Deliver HR systems and policy training for front-line staff
• Maintain audit readiness and complete monthly compliance controls (MKCC)

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business, or related field
• 2+ years HR experience (senior living or healthcare preferred)
• Supervisory and employee relations experience
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• High integrity and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems

Pay Range: 68,000.00 - 85,000.00
