Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Area Regional HR Manager to drive people strategy across multiple communities. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, HRIS/ATS, regulatory documentation, and performance management while partnering with leaders to strengthen engagement and compliance.

The role emphasizes building engaged teams, ensuring legal compliance, and leading HR initiatives across a regional footprint in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years HR experience (senior living or healthcare preferred).
• Supervisory and employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, job fairs, and hiring processes.
• Ensure compliance with Sunrise Hiring Standards and employment laws.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and system access for new team members.
• Maintain HRIS, ATS, personnel files, and regulatory documentation.
• Manage unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
• Serve as HR partner to department leaders on performance management.
• Lead employee relations matters and internal investigations.
• Drive team member engagement initiatives and action planning.
• Deliver HR systems and policy training for front-line staff.
• Maintain audit readiness and complete monthly compliance controls (MKCC).
