Job summary

Choice Hotels International seeks an Area Director, Upscale Franchise Performance to drive financial, commercial, operational and guest-experience results across upscale, select-service and full-service hotels. This strategic individual contributor advises franchise owners and property leaders, translating brand strategies into property-level actions.

You will analyze market trends, forecast demand, optimize RevPAR and ADR, and develop property-specific revenue, sales and marketing plans.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant hospitality or related experience.
• Experience advising hotel owners and operators on financial and guest-experience performance.
• Experience evaluating P&Ls and translating data into actionable performance strategies.
• Experience with upscale, select-service, and/or full-service hotel operations preferred.
• Ability to influence outcomes in a matrixed environment without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Advise franchise owners and hotel leaders on performance strategies.
• Develop and execute revenue, sales, and marketing plans.
• Analyze market trends, forecast demand, and optimize pricing.
• Support portfolio with best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor General Managers and property leaders.
• Improve guest satisfaction and online reputation.
