Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) is seeking an Area Director, Franchise Performance for Core Brands to drive revenue growth across a portfolio of midscale and upper midscale franchised hotels.

The role partners with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution, Brand, and Operations to align commercial strategies with owner profitability and program adoption. The position requires extensive experience in hotel performance, strategic advisory, and relationship

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive hotel industry experience with commercial strategy and multi-property responsibility.
• 10+ years of hotel leadership experience, preferably in franchise performance or revenue management.
• Proven ability to influence decisions through analytics and strategic consultation.
• Experience working within a matrixed organization and influencing outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic commercial advisor to hotel owners and operators using portfolio and market data to identify revenue opportunities.
• Conduct visits, performance reviews, and business consultations linking revenue strategy, sales, marketing, loyalty, and operations to growth.
• Influence adoption of commercial priorities through clear accountability and measurable goals.
• Evaluate market demand, pricing, distribution, and sales to prioritize high-value opportunities.
• Develop action-oriented recommendations to improve revenue, market share, and owner value.
