Job summary
Choice Hotels International is seeking an Area Director, Franchise Performance, Core Brands to drive the commercial performance of a portfolio of midscale and upper midscale franchised hotels across multiple markets. The role partners with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution, Brand, and Operations to support growth and owner profitability.
The candidate will analyze data to identify opportunities, develop strategic action plans, and influence execution to improve RevPAR,
Qualifications
- Fifteen (15) years of progressive hotel industry experience with significant responsibility for commercial strategy.
- Ten (10) years of hotel leadership experience, preferably including franchise performance or revenue management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven ability to influence decisions through analytics and strategic consultation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic commercial advisor to hotel owners and operators using portfolio data.
- Conduct property visits and business reviews linking revenue strategy with execution to drive growth.
- Influence stakeholder adoption of commercial priorities with clear accountability and follow-through.
- Evaluate market demand, pricing strategy, distribution, and sales performance to prioritize opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to maximize hotel portfolio performance.
