Job summary

Choice Hotels International, Inc. seeks an Area Director, Franchise Performance for Core Brands to drive commercial performance across a portfolio of midscale franchised hotels.

You will advise owners, operators, and management companies using revenue, market, and operational data to identify growth opportunities. The role develops and executes strategic commercial action plans to improve RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and owner profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum fifteen years in hotel industry with commercial strategy experience.
• Minimum ten years in hotel leadership, preferably franchise performance or multi-unit ops.
• Proven track record in revenue growth, RevPAR, market share, owner profitability.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic commercial advisor to hotel owners/operators using data to identify revenue opportunities.
• Conduct visits and business reviews connecting revenue strategy with sales, marketing, distribution, loyalty, and operations.
• Influence adoption of commercial priorities with accountability and follow-through.
• Evaluate market demand, pricing, distribution, and sales performance to prioritize opportunities.
• Develop action-oriented recommendations to improve revenue, profitability, and owner value.
