Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to partner with architectural firms across the Southeast Michigan region. You will guide design professionals in specifying door openings, BIM tools, and related solutions, building strong market relationships.

You will drive specifications, provide product information for projects, and lead education programs while collaborating with a diverse sales team and supporting division 08 documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture/design/engineering/construction management or related field.
• 2–3 years of industry experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• CRM tools experience such as Salesforce.
• Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with architectural design teams to specify door openings and hardware.
• Identify opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
• Provide timely product information for project specifications.
• Deliver continuing educational programs highlighting new products and design services.
• Assist with product substitution and bid-specification approvals.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for customer, project tracking and time management.
