Job summary

ASSA ABLOY seeks an Architectural Sales Representative to influence design teams and drive door opening solutions across major projects. You will educate architects, specifiers, and designers, delivering BIM-enabled specifications and value-added services.

You will build strategic relationships, manage specifications, and present project proposals while leveraging Openings Studio BIM and CRM systems to track opportunities and outcomes. This role requires travel and team collaboration.

Qualifications

2–3 years of industry experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management.
College/University degree or equivalent in a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms.
Familiarity with BIM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
Provide timely and accurate product information for use in project specifications.
Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products and services.
Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals.
