Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to drive design and specification for door openings nationwide. You will work with architectural professionals using Openings Studio BIM software to specify 3D doors, hardware, and access control, while building influential relationships and educating clients.

You will travel within the territory, serve as the primary education and technical support contact, and promote our Openings Studio BIM tool and services.

Qualifications

• Background includes a College/University degree or equivalent.
• 2–3 years industry-related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
• Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
• Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
• Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
• Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
• Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
• Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
• You will be the point-of-contact for architect education, specification, client satisfaction and technical support needs.
• You will oversee architectural development, project tracking and gain approval for internal team to prepare Division 08 documents.
