Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit, available in the United States. The role focuses on strategic workforce planning, staffing optimization, and coordinating with Sector Managers and Leadership to support rapid project delivery.

You will forecast resource needs, support recruitment, onboard new hires, and ensure efficient operations across multiple offices and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or professional degree in architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in architecture, operations management, resource management, or similar.
• Experience developing work plans and assigning staff to execute work.
• Strong scheduling, resourcing, and reporting skills with common tools.

Responsibilities

• Track and report staff resourcing and utilization; maintain resource allocation systems and LOE hours.
• Lead staffing organization efforts; review assignments with leadership.
• Forecast staffing needs based on project pipeline and workload.
• Prepare recurring operational reports for department leadership and VP/Director.
• Coordinate onboarding, offers, and new-hire setup with HR and local offices.
• Develop onboarding processes and organize office onboarding and security access.
