Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit. You will lead staffing, forecast workload, and collaborate with Sector Managers and Program Managers to enable efficient project delivery across a rapidly expanding data center portfolio.

This role reports to the Department Manager, involving coordination with HR, recruiting, IT, and office staff, maintaining staffing records, and supporting proposals with LOE and FTE estimates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in architecture, operations, or resource management.
• Experience developing work plans and staffing assignments.
• Proficient with scheduling and reporting tools (MS Office/Microsoft 365).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior leadership.
• Discretion with confidential personnel, budget, and client information.

Responsibilities

• Track and report staff resourcing and utilization; maintain LOE and hours.
• Lead staffing efforts with Sector Managers and Program Managers.
• Coordinate staffing with other departments (GID).
• Forecast staffing needs based on pipeline and workload.
• Provide recommendations to Department Leadership on gaps.
• Prepare recurring operational reports for VP/Director.
• Maintain records of staff location, salary, role, credentials.
• Support proposals with LOE hours and FTE estimates.
• Coordinate onboarding and local office access/processes.
• Organize monthly department staff meetings with Leadership.
