Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit. This role optimizes staffing, forecasts resource needs, and supports recruitment and onboarding to enable efficient project delivery across a rapidly expanding data center portfolio.

The position reports to the Department Manager and collaborates with leadership, Sector Managers, Program Managers, and staff to ensure effective staffing, utilization, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch) or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in architecture, operations/resource management, or related field.
• Experience developing work plans and assigning staff.
• Proficiency with scheduling, resourcing, and reporting tools.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Track and report staff resourcing and utilization across projects.
• Lead staffing efforts and review assignments with leadership.
• Coordinate staffing with other departments and business units.
• Forecast staffing needs based on pipeline and workload.
• Identify gaps and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare operational reports for leadership and VP/Director.
• Maintain staff records (location, salary, role, credentials).
• Support proposals, LOE hours, and staffing for new work.
• Develop and maintain department SharePoint organization.
