Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit in the United States. You will optimize staffing, forecast needs, and support recruitment and onboarding to enable efficient project delivery across a growing data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture, operations management, resource management, or a related professional discipline.
• Experience with developing work plans and assigning staff to execute the work.
• Strong proficiency with scheduling, resourcing, and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office/Microsoft 365, resource-management software).
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across a growing team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort preparing materials for senior leadership audiences.
• Discretion in handling confidential personnel, budget, and client information.

Responsibilities

• Track and report staff resourcing and utilization; maintain the department's resource-allocation system including all staff roles, LOE and hours, and major deliverables.
• Lead staffing organization efforts in collaboration with Sector Managers and Program Managers; review assignments with Department Leadership.
• Coordinate architectural staffing needs and assignments with other departments and business units (e.g., GID).
• Forecast staffing needs based on project pipeline and anticipated workload.
• Identify resource gaps and provide recommendations to Department Leadership.
• Prepare recurring operational reporting for Department Leadership and VP/Business Unit Director.
