Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit. You will optimize staffing, forecast workload, and collaborate with sector managers, program managers, and HR to recruit and onboard talent, enabling efficient project delivery across a growing data center portfolio.

The role reports to the Department Manager and requires strong scheduling, reporting, and communication skills, with seven years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture, operations or resource management.
• Experience developing work plans and assigning staff to execute work.
• Strong proficiency with scheduling, resourcing, and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track staffing and utilization; maintain resource allocation data and deliverables.
• Lead staffing organization efforts with sector and program managers.
• Forecast staffing needs based on project pipeline.
• Collaborate with other departments including GID for staffing needs.
• Prepare operational reports for leadership and VP/Director.
• Coordinate onboarding, new hire offers, and onboarding logistics.
• Develop onboarding processes and manage local office onboarding.
