Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit. You will optimize staffing, forecast needs, and support recruitment and onboarding to enable efficient project delivery across a growing data center portfolio.

You will report to the Department Manager and collaborate with Sector Managers and Program Managers. The role requires a professional architecture background and strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years in architecture, operations or resource management.
• Experience with developing work plans and staffing assignments.
• Strong scheduling, resourcing and reporting skills using MS Office 365.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior leadership.
• Discretion with confidential personnel, budget and client information.

Responsibilities

• Track staffing and utilization; maintain resource allocation system including LOE hours and deliverables for active and upcoming projects.
• Lead staffing organization efforts with Sector Managers and Program Managers; review assignments with Department Leadership.
• Coordinate architectural staffing needs with other departments and units, such as Global Integrated Delivery (GID).
• Forecast staffing needs based on project pipeline and workload.
• Identify resource gaps and advise Department Leadership.
• Prepare recurring operational reports for Department Leadership and VP/Business Unit Director, including headcount and utilization.
• Coordinate onboarding and onboarding logistics with Jacobs Navigators; arrange local office onboarding and security access.
• Organize monthly department staff meetings with Department Leadership.
