Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit. You will optimize staffing, forecast needs, recruit and onboard, and support efficient project delivery across a growing data center portfolio.

You will report to the Department Manager and work with Architectural Leadership, Sector Managers, Program Managers, and staff to align resources with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture, operations management, resource management, or a related professional discipline.
• Experience with developing work plans and assigning staff to execute the work.
• Strong proficiency with scheduling, resourcing, and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Track staffing and utilization; maintain resource allocation system with LOE and hours.
• Lead staffing organization efforts with Sector Managers and Program Managers.
• Forecast staffing needs based on project pipeline and workload.
• Coordinate onboarding, new hire offers, and office onboarding logistics.
• Prepare operational reporting for department leadership and VP/Director.
