Job summary

ASSA ABLOY in Houston, TX is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to drive door opening solutions within the architectural community. You will partner with design teams to specify products, deliver BIM-enabled education, and support bid processes to win projects.

Role requires 2–3 years in architectural representation or related field, strong communication, and ability to travel. You will work with a team providing specification, support, and project management across diverse clients.

Qualifications

Degree or work-equivalent experience in architecture/design/construction management or related field.
2-3 years in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design‑Build construction management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; familiarity with industry software a plus.

Responsibilities

Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
Provide timely product information for use in project specifications.
Deliver continuing education programs highlighting new products and services.
Assist with substitution and approval procedures to keep specifications in bids.
Utilize Salesforce.com for customer relationship and project tracking.
