Job summary

Stantec’s Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team is seeking archaeological staff to support diverse projects across multiple western states. You will assist field directors and project managers in pre-field planning, cultural surveys, and monitoring while working both independently and within a crew in varied field conditions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology, at least 1 year CRM experience, travel ability for up to two weeks, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required.
• 1 year minimum CRM experience.
• Experience with both small and large archaeological crews.
• Willing to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Directly support field directors and project managers with pre-field planning, surveys, and monitoring.
• Exhibit good field skills and work independently or as part of a crew.
• Identify and record areas of archaeological potential, sites, and traditional use sites.
• Collect appropriate field data.
• Support construction planning.
