Job summary

FINRA is seeking an administrative professional to support arbitration case processing in Chicago. You will analyze pleadings for jurisdiction, manage case intake, monitor deadlines, and assist arbitrators and management with documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and collaboration across virtual and in-person teams, with a hybrid work arrangement and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with desktop office applications and standard office equipment.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process case intake and prepare cases for service by analyzing initial pleadings for jurisdiction and conformity with requirements.
• Analyze and process subsequent pleadings (answers, counterclaims, cross-claims, third-party claims).
• Monitor case-related reports to ensure deadlines and SLAs are met.
• Maintain motions calendar, solicit responses, and prepare documents for submission to arbitrators.
