Job summary

Symbotic is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage sales orders, invoicing, tax items and ERP processes for customer contracts. You will ensure accurate billing, timely execution of transactions, and collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Based in Wilmington, MA, this hybrid role requires an Associate’s degree and at least two years in order-to-cash work, SAP ERP proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer sales order, invoicing and related processes.
• Proficient in SAP ERP.
• Must be a team player in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creation of Sales Orders and invoices for customer contracts using ERP.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of transactions for sales orders, invoices and credit notes.
• Ensure sales tax is set correctly in ERP and included in customer invoices.
• Communicate with customers to resolve invoice or deliverable issues.
• Manage customer relationships, follow up past dues and resolve payment disputes.
• Assist with financial and management reporting related to customer billing.
• Propose improvements to Sales Order and Billing processes.
• Assist with account setup, pricing, shipping terms and tax items within Sales and Supply Chain teams.
• Support month-end close activities and ERP implementation.
