Job summary

Pixalate, Inc is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team on a part-time basis in McLean, VA. You will manage invoicing, payments, and aging, collaborating with Sales and Customer Success to keep billing accurate and collections timely.

The role emphasizes detail-oriented analysis, proactive communication, and ability to work independently while supporting forecasting and month-end close as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounts receivable, billing, or related finance role.
• Associate’s or BA in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong accuracy and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule, ensuring billing aligns with contracts, pricing, and terms.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances to support timely collections.
• Post and reconcile incoming payments, maintaining clean customer account records.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, billing issues, credit memos, and payment-related queries.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready AR records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare AR aging reports and provide updates on outstanding balances and collection status.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting by providing timely info on expected customer collections.
• Support AR forecasts and budgets, including projected billings and collections.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to ensure billing accuracy and timely invoicing.
