Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team in California. The role focuses on managing customer accounts, posting payments, applying cash receipts, and supporting month-end close activities.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in AR or related accounting, proficiency with ERP systems, and strong Excel skills. You will collaborate across departments to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections.

Formación

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and basic accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
• Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Communicate with customers regarding account status and outstanding invoices.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate AR records.
• Assist with month-end close activities and AR-related reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer account issues.
• Prepare and maintain customer account documentation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
