Job summary

Elite Interactive Solutions, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance and Accounting team in Monterey Park, CA. This role handles day-to-day AR tasks including billing support, cash application, collections, customer reconciliation, and aging management.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of owning a customer portfolio from billing through collection, working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain healthy cash flow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable, collections, billing, or related accounting experience.
• Hands-on cash application, aging management, collections, and customer account reconciliation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage a high-volume portfolio.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to resolve billing issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned customer portfolio and follow up on collections based on aging.
• Apply customer payments accurately and research unapplied cash, short payments, credits.
• Reconcile customer accounts and aging details prior to month-end close.
• Support recurring and project-based billing by validating information.
• Maintain documentation of collection activity, disputes, and next steps.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Service, and Operations to resolve disputes.
• Prepare AR aging, cash collection, delinquency, and escalation reporting.
• Escalate significant disputes or payment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and audit-ready documentation.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Support Accounting with AR-related activities and projects.
