Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager in California to lead a five-person AR team and manage AR end-to-end for a high-volume, inventory-based business. You will drive collections, reduce aging, and build strong customer relationships across about 6,000 accounts.

Must have 5+ years in AR, ERP experience (NetSuite preferred), advanced Excel, and SQL/Crystal reporting skills. Hybrid schedule in Rancho Santa Margarita.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts receivable experience including billing and collections
• Experience leading and developing an AR team
• Proven success reducing aged receivables and improving collections performance
• Strong Excel, SQL/Crystal Reports reporting
• ERP experience with NetSuite preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AR Specialists
• Oversee the full AR cycle including billing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and reporting
• Drive collection efforts to reduce aging and past-due balances while preserving customer relationships
• Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to resolve payment disputes quickly
• Enforce credit and collection policies across the customer base
• Monitor AR performance metrics, aging reports, and collection effectiveness
• Develop and maintain reporting and analytics to support business decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and team efficiency
• Support ERP-related initiatives and system enhancements
