Job summary

American Outdoor Brands is seeking an AR Specialist who can manage accounts, post daily cash, and work with customers and internal teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of AR experience and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities include maintaining accounts, sending statements, resolving discrepancies, and applying payments via Lock Box/ACH/Wires/Card. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned accounts and post daily cash.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries daily.
• Process AR adjustments and refunds.
• Apply cash to customer accounts via Lock Box, ACH, wires or card.
• Interact with customers by phone and email; coordinate with Order Management and Sales.
