Job summary

Artisan Design Group, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support day-to-day AR activities across billing, collections, and cash applications. You will work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and timely issue resolution, with month-end AR responsibilities and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounting, accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related experience preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• B2B collections experience in a high-volume environment is a plus.
• Construction or project-based accounting experience is a plus, particularly Order-to-Cash.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts from billing through collection and cash application.
• Monitor AR aging, identify past-due balances, and follow up with customers on open items.
• Create and send customer invoices and statements; verify job/PO information and other billing details.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, deductions, and missing remittance information.
