Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to ensure accurate payment application and record-keeping. You will resolve discrepancies, post cash receipts, and support audits while partnering with GL, collections, and sales teams.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 5+ years of AR experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. This role offers an on-site position in Grand Prairie, TX with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years related experience or training.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, research, and resolve payment discrepancies and related concerns.
• Communicate questionable or high-risk account activity to management.
• Respond to inquiries regarding accounts receivable and payments.
• Maintain organized AR files and records.
• Assist with audits and gathering required documentation.
• Collaborate with collections, sales, and customers to resolve issues.
• Post daily cash receipts to customer accounts with accuracy.
