The role emphasizes ownership, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal and external customers to improve processes and systems within the AR function. The position requires 3+ years in cash management and strong Excel skills, with SAP familiarity considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in cash management (credit card, wires, ACH, lockbox).
• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with General Ledger is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and post all customer payments (cards, wires, lockbox) timely and accurately.
• Generate and send invoices, reminders, and customer statements.
• Monitor unapplied cash and resolve application issues with stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries about payments and cash applications promptly.
• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers as needed.
• Improve cash applications efficiencies with banking partners and IT.
• Support root-cause analysis and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Maintain records of transactions, adjustments, and communications.
• Analyze AR aging reports to identify problematic accounts.
• Cross-train with team members to cover all AR duties.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
