Job summary

W.C. Bradley Co. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage cash inflows, ensure AR accuracy, and partner with internal and external customers. The role requires ownership, independence, and attention to detail to monitor cash applications metrics.

Responsibilities include processing payments, invoicing, reminders, and statements, resolving unapplied cash, and improving AR processes with IT and banking partners. Strong Excel and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in cash management (credit cards, wires, ACH and lockbox).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and General Ledger generally preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong communication and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all customer payments and post timely and accurate entries.
• Generate invoices, payment reminders, and statements for customers.
• Monitor unapplied cash and resolve application issues with stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries regarding payments and cash applications promptly.
• Track overdue payments and follow up with customers as needed.
• Improve cash applications efficiencies with banking partners and IT.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for cash issues.
• Maintain records of transactions, adjustments and communications.
• Research payment exceptions and communicate findings to management.
• Analyze AR aging reports to identify problematic accounts and prioritize collections.
• Cross-train with team members to cover all AR processes.
• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
