Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract-to-hire role based in West Chester, PA. The role covers full AR cycles, billing accuracy, timely cash application, and proficient use of ERP systems and Excel to deliver clear financial insights.

The position is onsite in Garnet Valley, PA, with pay range $24.00-$26.00 per hour and benefits eligibility typical of temporary roles. Ideal candidates have an Associates degree and 2+ years in AR functions within larger revenue

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, and collections experience.
• 2+ years of cash receipts and applying payments to customer accounts.
• 2+ years of experience using an ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Workday, GP, or QuickBooks).
• 2+ years of Microsoft Excel experience, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Hands-on experience with AR processes including billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial entries.
• Effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR customer accounts and ensure timely payments.
• Proactively pursue past-due balances and drive collections.
• Apply customer payments in the order management system accurately.
• Manage billing to ensure invoices are correct and issued promptly.
• Perform cash applications and allocate payments to invoices.
• Create and distribute weekly statements for major customers.
• Support ad hoc accounting reports and special projects.
• Collaborate with accounting to improve processes and accuracy.
• Use Excel to analyze AR data and support reporting.
