Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a Procedural Specialist to promote AR&R products through clinical support and education within a defined geographic area. You will educate physicians and hospital staff, coordinate training, and build strong customer relationships across surgery teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in operating room or procedural areas, strong technical knowledge, credentialing, and the ability to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred; or minimum of 6 years equivalent relevant work experience with High School diploma
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Operating Room or procedural areas.
• Surgical and procedure knowledge; basic anatomy knowledge is required.
• Experience in the hernia space.
• Ability to travel 60-80%, including multiple overnights.
• Must possess and maintain credentialing in respective clinical discipline.
• Must be able to meet customer facility access requirements including periodic drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and staff on AR&R products through case support and in-servicing.
• Coordinate field level customer training and technical support of clinical cases.
• Establish relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital personnel; obtain new users and applications for company products.
• Observe market trends affecting AR&R sales, service and product development.
• Maintain relationships with Region Manager, Territory Managers, ATMs and customers.
• Represent BD in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Process customer complaints and returns per established procedures.
• Maintain company vehicle and company property.
• Support AR&R procedures in vacant territories as directed.
• Other duties as required.
