Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an AR Manager in Bedford, OH to lead the full accounts receivable function and team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on owning the receivables process, analyzing complex accounts, and partnering across departments to resolve issues.

Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of accounting experience with AR leadership, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a track record of improving AR reporting, controls, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with significant AR experience.
• Experience leading or managing an accounting/AR team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily AR operations: cash application, billing, collections, deductions, reconciliation.
• Review AR aging and customer accounts for timely payments.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and complex account issues.
• Lead AR meetings with Sales and leadership to review key accounts and collections.
• Prepare monthly AR reports, aging analysis, dashboards and management reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close and audits.
• Maintain internal controls and drive automation and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities (AR Manager):

• Lead daily accounts receivable operations, including cash application, billing, collections, deductions, and account reconciliation
• Review AR aging and customer accounts to ensure payments are received and applied accurately and timely
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and complex customer account issues
• Lead AR meetings with Sales and leadership to review key accounts, outstanding balances, and collection activity
• Prepare monthly AR reports, aging analysis, dashboards, and management reporting
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and annual audits
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement

Preferred Qualifications (AR Manager):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably with significant Accounts Receivable experience
• Previous experience leading or managing an accounting/AR team
