Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager in Bedford, OH, to own the full receivables process and lead a seasoned AR team. The role focuses on analyzing complex customer accounts, improving processes, and partnering across departments to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of accounting experience, with AR leadership, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Hybrid work, PTO, bonus and health benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably with significant Accounts Receivable experience.
• Previous experience leading or managing an accounting/AR team.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounts receivable operations, including cash application, billing, collections, deductions, and account reconciliation.
• Review AR aging and customer accounts to ensure payments are received and applied accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and complex customer account issues.
• Lead AR meetings with Sales and leadership to review key accounts, outstanding balances, and collection activity.
• Prepare monthly AR reports, aging analysis, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and annual audits.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
