Job summary

CharterUP is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor in Atlanta, GA (remote-first, with occasional in-office attendance). You will oversee day-to-day AR activities, focus on collections, payment processing, and reconciliation while supporting a growing, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, or related financial operations.
• Experience coordinating or overseeing the day-to-day work of a team, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Experience with AR processes including invoicing, collections, payment application and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day AR activities including invoicing, collections, payment application, and reconciliation.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of team output to ensure productivity and accuracy.
• Monitor aging and follow up on overdue accounts to support timely collections.
• Coordinate daily workload and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Review account activity for discrepancies and resolve promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Support to resolve billing questions.
• Follow up with customers and partners on outstanding invoices.
• Monitor accounts for payment issues and escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain AR documentation and records for tracking.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Onboard and train team members on AR procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and communicate improvement opportunities.
• Utilize financial systems and spreadsheets to track collections.
