Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in the United States seeks a Supervisor, Accounts Receivable to lead the AR team, address denied claims, and drive KPI/SLAs for client accounts. You will supervise workflow, mentor staff, and partner with Coding, Billing, and Revenue Integrity to improve revenue accuracy.

This remote role requires 1–3 years in medical collections and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with the ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in medical collections, physician/hospital operations, AR Follow-up, denials & appeals, compliance, provider relations or professional billing preferred.
• Knowledge of claims review and analysis.
• Working knowledge of revenue cycle.
• Experience working the DDE Medicare system and using payer websites to investigate claim statuses.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance claim terminology.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve processes and manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily workflow of the department, monitoring progress to identify trends in denied payments by insurance companies and remediation solutions.
• Conducts team huddles to cover training focuses and share trends/solutions on unpaid and denied claims.
• Ensures adherence to the departmental budget, including overtime and monthly reports.
• Ensure all team members meet productivity and quality standards and conducts regular performance reviews.
• Reviews time management and approves timecards in payroll processing.
• Collects, interprets, and communicates performance data to inform decisions.
• Works with ancillary departments to achieve revenue cycle goals.
